If you're planning on building more than one engine, this heavy duty stand is the way to go. It's made here in the USA and is an excellent product. You can buy the bell-housing adapter for the stand and have the start of a pre-run engine stand. This engine stand also folds for easy storage. It's a first rate engine stand and we highly recommend it.

If you are going to rebuild your own motor it is a good idea to get an engine stand. It makes your life a lot easier. If you buy the bench mount stand, make sure the bench you're mounting it to is also mounted to the wall. These stands are for light duty.
