Q: What prompted you to start your own business?

I've worked on air-cooled Volkswagens my whole life so I decided to do what I know well, rather than work for somebody else.

Q: What is your education and career background?

I have five degrees — small business administration, marketing, accounting, advertising and also general education.

Q: How much research did you do before starting your business?

Once I could pick up a wrench I started doing research on air-cooled Volkswagens.

Q: When were you the most discouraged?

When I found out about all of the different fees the city, state and federal governments charge in this industry.

Q: What company or individual do you admire most?

The individual I admire most is Ferdinand Porsche. He started with nothing when he designed the original Volkswagen, or folk's wagon, also known as the People's Car, in the 1930s.

Q: What will make your business stand out from competitors?

Our knowledge of air-cooled parts and our customer service will make us stand out. We provide quality work because our mechanics are specifically trained in air-cooled motors. As for VW products — some manufacturers of VW do not have quality parts. If you order or inquire about a part or item we sell, we will tell you if we do not like that particular part and why. We may recommend a better or more reliable part if one is available.

Q: What is your target client/customer base?

Anyone in the world who owns or needs to purchase parts for an air-cooled Volkswagen.
